Mental Wellness Ministry (MWM) seeks to equip the ARPC family Biblically to reach out lovingly and sensitively to those with mental health challenges to support them holistically in their faith journey.

The Mental Wellness Ministry (MWM) was formally set up in 2018 to draw together the existing efforts of different brothers and sisters, with a mission to help our church family reach out lovingly, sensitively and effectively to those with mental health concerns, thus supporting them holistically in their discipleship journey.

We seek to focus our current and future efforts in three broad areas:

  • Peer Support
  • Befriending
  • Counselling

  • Workshops
  • Webinars and Podcasts
  • Social Media
  • Church Event and Ministries

  • Helper Support and Training
  • DG Leaders and Pastoral
  • Staff Training
  • Mental Health Professionals’ Sharing
  • Recommendations for Resources

We aim to do this by helping:

All in ARPC develop a Biblical, medical and sound understanding of mental health concerns in partnership with other ARPC ministries as well as specific learning opportunities.

Recovering brothers and sisters receive spiritual encouragement in their individual journeys through fellowship, prayer and pastoral care.

Professionals in the mental health field understand and be convicted to live out their God-given calling.

Caregivers to be supported with spiritual, medical and practical resources and to organise workshops and events.
