OUR DATA PRIVACY POLICY

Adam Road Presbyterian Church (“ARPC”) is committed to protecting your personal data and privacy in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore (“PDPA”). This Data Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out the basis which ARPC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process your personal data.

PERSONAL DATA

“Personal data” means any data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data or from that data and other information that ARPC has access to. The personal data that may be collected by us generally consists of name, residential address, email address, telephone number, gender, date of birth, marital status, nationality, race, photographs, video recordings and other personal information.
We may also collect non-personally identifiable data about you, such as your use of our website, internet protocol addresses, browser and computer system information, cookies, invisible pixels, and aggregated data related to your use of our website, applications or platforms.
If you provide us with personal data of any third party, you confirm that you have obtained the consent of such third party for us to collect, use and disclose their personal data pursuant to this Policy.
COLLECTION, USE & DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
We may collect your personal data when it is provided to us by you directly or via a third party who has been duly authorised by you to disclose your personal data to us.

As a religious organisation, we generally collect, use and disclose personal data for the following purposes:

(a) To identify our members and those who regular worship with us and visitors to the ARPC;
(b) To carry out the ministry programmes and activities of ARPC;
(c) To manage the administration and operations of ARPC;
(d) To establish and maintain responsible relationships among our members, regular worshippers and visitors; and
(e) To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We may share your personal data with:

(a) staff, ministry leaders, members or volunteers of ARPC;
(b)
persons providing services to us (including our professional advisors, vendors) or our partners;
(c)
any person to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations or to protect the rights or property of ARPC;
(d) any person where it is necessary to protect or safeguard the life or health of an individual.

Withdrawal of consent
You may email our Data Protection Officer to withdraw your consent in respect of our use, collection or disclosure of your personal data. We will inform you of the consequences of the withdrawal of such consent. Thereafter if you still wish to proceed, we shall, as soon as reasonably practicable, cease the collection, use or disclosure of such personal data in our records.
Please note that withdrawing consent does not affect our right to continue to collect, use and disclose personal data where such collection, use and disclose without consent is permitted or required under applicable laws.
ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
If you wish to know about your personal data in our possession or control, or how the data has been used or to whom it may have been disclosed, you may write to our Data Protection Officer.
If you wish to correct any personal data in the our possession or control, you may also write to our Data Protection Officer.
RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.
We will cease to retain your personal data, or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or ministry purposes.
Transfer of Personal Data to third parties
We will protect personal data disclosed to third parties by contractual or other means stipulating the purposes for which it is to be used and the necessity to provide a comparable level of protection.
EFFECTS OF POLICY & CHANGES TO POLICY
This Policy is to be read in conjunction with any other policies, contractual clauses and consent clauses that apply in relation to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by us.
We may revise this Policy from time to time without any prior notice.
