Our

2008 : Back at Adam Road
We move back into 25 Adam Road, with a bigger, brighter & better space!
2015 : 1 Church in 2 Places under God
By God's grace, we outgrew our space at Adam Road, and sent 350 of our regulars & members to start 2 new services at Bishan.
2015 : Let's Carnival
In 2015, God gave us a wonderful opportunity to bless our neighbours in Bishan locally and our country nationally. We held our first Carnival in conjunction with Singapore’s Jubilee year (SG50) and the President’s Challenge Volunteer Drive.
2020 : Our First Gazetted land @ Tengah
God has blessed us with a land on Bukit Batok West Ave 5 to build a church and continue the work of Christ of sharing the gospel and making disciples.

1983 : Woodlands Ministry
The Woodlands Ministry was led by Pastor Richard Ng, with a congregation of 16 people.
1984 : Adam Road Ministry
The Adam Road Ministry was led by Elder Michael Lee, with a congregation of 16 people.
1991 : "WARM" was formed (Woodlands + Adam Road Ministries)
The Woodlands & Adam Road Ministries merged to for the "WARM" Ministry. It was Led by Pastor Richard Ng, who passed on in the same year. It was subsequently led by Pastor Christopher Chia, with a congregation of 70 people.
1994 : Adam Road Presbyterian Center (ARPC)
"WARM" congregation changed our name to Adam Road Presbyterian Centre and moved into 25 Adam Road. In this year, Pastor Christopher Chia was ordained. We were 150 people big, and held 2 services weekly.
1997 : Our independence
Princept Street Presbyterian Church recognises ARPC as an independent congregation
2006 : Renovating 25 Adam Road (& our first foray into Bishan)
We renovate 25 Adam Road to make room for our growing congregation. Meanwhile, we continue our services & ministries at Kuo Chuan Secondary School in Bishan.

We Believe In

We believe in the unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as the Trinitarian God.
We believe in the sovereignty of God in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgment.
We believe in the divine inspiration and infallibility of the Bible and its supreme authority in all matters of our faith and conduct.
We believe in the universal sinfulness of man and guilt of human nature since the Fall, making mankind subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
We believe in the redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death – as our representative and substitute – of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God who came to destroy the Devil’s work.

We believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
We believe in the necessity of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective to the individual sinner, granting us repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe in the indwelling and work of the Holy Spirit in every believer.
We believe in the one holy universal Church, which is the body of Christ, and to which all true believers belong.
We believe in the personal and glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ to save the Church and judge the world.

Who We Are
Under God

What kind of church is ARPC? Yes, we are Reformed. Yes, we are Evangelical. What are we “on” about? We are on about GOD – His name, kingdom, will. More precisely, we are on about JESUS. God has put the world on notice: It is now under Jesus’ new management! This is ARPC’s loftiest concern: To be Christ-like people!

ARPC is a Gospel-centred & Bible-centred Church

We take the gospel full-heartedly by taking God’s Word seriously as the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. We are committed to: Expository Preaching that explains the full counsel of God not simply on Sundays but every day in all our ministries – from children to adults, from prisons to university work and from Services to small groups.

Biblical Theology that explains God’s salvation story foretold in the Old Testament fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ. This keeps us from misrepresenting Christianity as mere religion, moralism or legalism. Christianity is having a right relationship with God as our Father and Jesus our Saviour and Lord.

ARPC seeks not simply to be Christ-centred but to be Christ-like

We believe in teaching our people for maturity. All our programs are to equip our people to “Tell of Jesus” and “Become like Jesus” in his love, servant-heartedness and humility. Our Discipleship Groups, Leaders Training, Annual Camps, Equip Conferences and Ministry Apprentice Program are to equip God’s people to grow to Christlike humility and maturity.

Discipling God’s people to follow Jesus and love God by knowing, teaching and living God’s Word. Each week, about 300 of our leaders teach the Bible faithfully in big group, small groups and one-to-one to our 800 children, 300 youth and 1,800 adults. Being a Bible-centred and Spirit-filled people as there is no dichotomy of Word vs Spirit in God’s saving mission.

ARPC seeks to be a humble God-glorifying church

We believe in Bible literacy for Christlike maturity. It is Christlikeness that glorifies God. Yes, we are committed to the Word of God but we more concerned to worship our God of Word.

We are an “all-size”, “all-age” and “all place”. “All-size” church? God made us with both a personal yet communal side. We can be part of big gatherings, belong to a small group yet enjoy personal ministries. “All-age” church? God made us to love both old and young! “All-place” church? God meant the church to be local, yet global in its reach.

At ARPC, we are an “all-size”, “all-age” and “all-place” family of God! We believe that we can “grow bigger, yet grow closer” simultaneously.
