Our Discipleship Groups (DGs) are the backbone of ARPC. God has blessed us with more than 80 DGs with over 1,200 people attending weekly. Our love for Christ is expressed by our love for His church experienced in lifelong discipleship.

As People of the Trinitarian God who exists in eternal relationships—Father, Son and Spirit—we live in relationships as His Church and also in small groups or discipleship groups.
Our DGs exist to Exalt the Lord Jesus by obeying Him through these 5Gs:

1. God's Word

“[I keep praying] that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him, [...]”
Ephesians 1:17

We seek to be a People of Word. By grace, we seek to know God and the Lord Jesus Christ by knowing God’s Word.

2. God's People

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord.”

1 Corinthians 12:4-5

We seek to be a People of Service to build up God’s People.

3. God's Mission

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20

We seek to be a People of Mission, whether locally or globally. By grace, we seek to take part in God’s Mission to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.

4. God's Power

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Philippians 4:6

We seek to be a People who seek God’s Power through Prayer. By grace, we seek to worry about nothing and pray about everything. And all these are for...

5. God's Glory

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31

Above all else, as God’s redeemed and beloved People, we seek God’s Glory by exalting the Lord Jesus who purchased us for the Father.

This is the testimony of many in our DGs: “My Discipleship Group is like my family. We have been humbled and blessed. We have been showered by God’s abundant love through the love and care of our DG brothers and sisters! We don’t just read the Word of God in ARPC. We live the Word of God.”
