Growing As Disciples Together

Our DGs are the backbone of ARPC. God has blessed us with more than 80 DGs with around 1,000 people attending weekly. Our love for Christ is expressed by our love for His church experienced in lifelong discipleship.

Faith in Christ Jesus must always express itself in love for one another! Our love for one another finds expression in many ways, but always in glory of God.
Coming to know this DG family has been a very humbling and blessed experience for me and my wife, Janice. Once strangers, we have been showered by God’s abundant love through the caring and loving of our DG brothers and sisters!

Maturing in
Prayer

We seek to be a People of Prayer. By grace, we seek to worry about nothing and pray about everything.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6

Maturing in
Knowledge

We seek to be a People of Word. By grace, we seek to know God and the Lord Jesus Christ by knowing His Word.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
Ephesians 1:17

Maturing in
Ministry

We seek to be a People of Service. By grace, we seek to use our God-given gifts to humbly serve in love to build up God’s people.

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
1 Corinthians 12:4-5

Maturing in
Mission

We seek to be a People of Mission. By grace, we seek to take part in God’s mission to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
Matthew 28:18-20

Maturing in
Leadership

We seek to be a People of Word. By grace, we seek to know God and the Lord Jesus Christ by knowing His Word.

To the elders among you, I appeal as a fellow elder, a witness of Christ’s sufferings and one who also will share in the glory to be revealed: Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, serving as overseers– not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being exam- ples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
1 Peter 5:1-4
