To be a Bible-centered and Christ-like community
committed to growing in love for God, God’s people, God’s world.

Missions Philosophy

“What God has shown me … is that you don’t have to wait until you’re ready, or until you enjoy something or are passionate about something, or feel like you have attained a certain status before you serve Him. You don’t even need to have a willing heart – God will change that. You just need to listen, trust and obey.”

Gn Shu Min.

EVERY ARPC MEMBER A SENDER AND A GOER

ARPC’s vision is to see every member become BOTH a “goer” (one who is involved in cross-cultural mission work) and a “sender” (one who sends and supports “goers”), participating in God’s Mission from anywhere to everywhere.

THE GREAT COMMISSION

The Great Commission, given by our Lord Jesus more than 2,000 years ago, stems from the heart of God our Father who seeks the return of his lost children. And since then, starting from the ministry of the apostles, people from many tribes, language and cultures have been turning from idols and back to the true and living God.

FROM ANYWHERE TO EVERYWHERE

In today’s globalised world, God’s people now have the opportunities to reach out to the lost those on our shores, and those far away. ARPC hopes to see every member grow in discipleship by becoming BOTH a “goer” (one who is involved in cross-cultural mission work) and a “sender” (one who sends and supports “goers”), participating in God’s Mission from anywhere to everywhere. And by doing so, we believe that there will be both personal and ministry fruitfulness.

MISSIONS COMMITTEE

Thus, the ARPC missions committee was set up to mobilise and sustain God’s people to do what He wants them to do (not what they want to do or what the committee wants them to do), to carry out His mission. The committee runs various meetings and programs to raise awareness and exposure to cross-cultural missions at ARPC:
  • Prayer Meetings for our missionaries and missions partners.
  • Short term mission trips for DGs to participate in God’s work in another culture (for more information, download the ARPC DG Mission Handbook),
  • Missions Retreat to strengthen our passion for and deepen our knowledge of God’s mission,
  • Mentoring program (aka Missions Roundtable) to journey with those who are currently involved in missions, as well as exploring doing missions as a full-time paid ministry. For more information, click here.
Whether you are considering how to go on a mission trip with your DG, or how you can journey with ARPC in missions, contact us, and we are ready to serve you!
